Legacy in Flight
Limited Edition Giclée Print 18x24
A tribute to freedom, legacy, and the spirit that carries it forward 🇺🇸
“Legacy in Flight” brings together the strength of a Clydesdale, the watchful presence of the American eagle, and the symbolism of the flag—capturing a moment that feels both powerful and timeless.
The horse in this piece is modeled after a Clydesdale named Legacy, who passed far too soon. He was deeply loved by all who knew him, and I felt he was the perfect soul to honor in this painting. What began as an idea to combine the eagle, horse, and flag took on even greater meaning as the piece evolved—becoming not just a composition, but a tribute.
This original painting was donated to Horses & Heroes in Ocala, where it was auctioned to support the Villages Honor Flight—an organization that flies veterans, including WWII, Vietnam, and Korea heroes, to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor.
To continue supporting this mission, 20% of all print sales will be donated directly to the organization.
